I found the Journey On selection interesting. I do engage in
meditation with music but this relaxation exercise was great. As the narrator
talked me through the process, I must say at first I was skeptical. I had to
tell myself to relax, listen and experience it. When the narrator said to
channel the blood flow from my middle body to my arms and hands, I wondered,
how is this going to happen through thought. After, totally relaxing and just
following the narrator, I was amazed. I was able to channel my blood flow and
when I tried to raise my hands they actually felt heavy and were a little
difficult to move. As he told me to reverse the process, I could feel the
weight of my hands getting lighter. My hands were then able to move freer with
no difficulty. After the exercise was over all I could say was, wow. This
exercise showed me the power of the mind and thought. I have always hear people
say that the power of the mind can do great things but I never experienced it.
This exercise was great and I would encourage everyone to find other relaxation
exercises to experience and help relax after a long busy day.
